UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is a state-of-the-art training facility and center for UPMC Sports Medicine. It will open to the public on Monday. The complex is named for former Pittsburgh Penguins player and current owner Mario Lemieux, who dropped the ceremonial puck at the opening ceremony. The facility includes two ice rinks for professional hockey practices and a Marriott TownPlace Suites hotel.

 UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is home to the Pittsburgh Penguins’ primary training facility, and it is a comprehensive outpatient facility for UPMC Sports Medicine. Featuring state-of-the-art technology, this sports medicine facility offers the latest treatments for athletes of all ages and skill levels. In addition to hockey training, the facility is also home to birthday parties, summer camps, and performance training.

To access the Sports Complex, follow Route 228 east. The UPMC side of the building is located on the second floor. You can also enter the complex via Mackenzie Way. You can find the entrance to the facility on the right side of the road. You can find plenty of parking near the complex, too. In addition to parking, the Sports Complex is conveniently located near the intersection of Route 228 and Cranberry Springs Drive.

UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is also close to several nearby attractions. UPMC Passavant Cranberry Hospital is just 2.1 km (1.3 mi) away from the property. Other attractions in the area include the Western Pennsylvania Model Railroad Museum and the AHN McCandless Neighborhood Hospital. UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is located within a walking distance of many attractions in Cranberry Twp PA.

 The campus is also home to the Red Hawks basketball and volleyball teams. On Thursday, they defeated Altoona 8-2. The complex has excellent facilities for sports, as well as a smoothie bar. The facility also features the Baierl Ice Complex. At a distance of 0.37 miles from downtown Pittsburgh, the facility also hosts USA hockey disabled festivals. In addition, the venue is home to Pittsburgh University and the Baierl Ice Complex.

 The new facility is the first of its kind in the country, with 24 private patient rooms. A physical therapy gym and aquatic therapy are available onsite. X-ray imaging and MRI imaging are also available. Throughout the building, UPMC’s world-class researchers will use their expertise to find answers to questions related to the sport. The team will examine the impact of concussions, and develop new treatments and surgeries.

 The new sports complex will include 75,000 square feet of uninterrupted court space. The new facility also has four premium locker rooms. It will be able to host a variety of sports events. Over 4,000 spectators can watch a game, and there will also be plenty of room for other sports events. It also has plenty of restrooms and concession stands.
